The Spirit Inn of Mission Valley is situated on a bluff overlooking the Guadalupe River. Located near Victoria, Texas on the original site of the oldest cattle ranch in the state of Texas it is within a stones throw of the Camino Real Trail de los Tejas National Historic Trail. Another historic treasure, the remains of the Mission Espiritu Santo, adds to the majestic atmosphere of the Spirit Inn of Mission Valley.

Like The Phoenix, the Spirit Inn of Mission Valley, was raised from the ashes of it's original home at the Bayfront of Seadrift Texas as the Lafitte Hotel. The Inn has been under renovation for the past two years and is now completely restored and ready to host your special event.

The Lafitte Hotel burned in 2005. Shortly after, Judy Clegg bought the structure. John Clegg and his team of expert structure movers dismantled the upper floors and moved the main structure to its new home in Mission Valley near Victoria, Texas.
